Following a number of years being self taught, I eventually took up photography as a subject at A-level, carrying this through to a diploma and finally on to a BA Hons, achieving a 2.1 whilst I studied at the University of Gloucestershire, but the education is far from over, the wonderful thing about photography is that you can never know it all, its a learning experience as well as a job, and no two jobs are alike; something that keeps me hooked on shooting.
No matter what the subject matter is or time of day I draw inspiration from everything that I see, the people around me and the things I hear about.
I take a great deal of influence from the classic practitioners such as Irving Penn, Alfred Stieglitz, Cartier-Bresson and so on, but also the new school masters give me a great deal of inspiration.
My aim is to always fuel my images with everything i have to offer, both technically and creatively. Always trying to get the best out of myself and whatever i'm confronted with.
